THE team had a draw against Links Shell Cove II at Moss Vale in damp soggy conditions. Paul Hazeltine continued his winning streak with another convincing win. Paul played some excellent golf and his match was never in doubt.

Jarryd “Bubba” Buckley had a see-sawing match against his opponent. They finished all-square and Jarryd gained a valuable point for the team with his drawn match. Many thanks go to Lance Fredericks, Ray Orr and Steve Rippon for travelling to Moss Vale and supporting the team on the day.

C Pennant Report: Round 4 Jamberoo V St Georges Basin @ Vincentia
IT’S certainly been a hard season for the “Cs” this year with all of our opponents fielding strong sides. All of the games today had lead changes during the matches but we fell away in the last few holes.
Tom Zimmermann (aka Cougar, Rock) Playing no.1, stays undefeated with a squared match. The odds were against Tom on the last hole after landing off the green, but Tom held on to halve the hole.
Peter Francis produced another courageous effort and was right in the game until his opponent strung a few winning holes together after the turn, eventually going down 5/3
After waiting 4 weeks to get a game, the ever reliable Wayne Griffiths showed us
how to win as he holed a12 footer on the last hole to take the match 1 up. The old fella has still got it!
Chris Leckey was up against the Basins captain and was cruising @ 2 up through 8 holes but a lapse in concentration at the top end of the course saw him go down 4/3.
Tony McRae lost a close match “billed the battle of the lefties” 3/2. After being behind early Tony clawed back to be 1 up, but his opponent had his eye on the prize and finished the game off well to take the match.
The boys are looking forward to our game against Moss Vale @ St Georges Basin next weekend, where we will play this season’s last match.
