News From The Course – 5th March

Care of the Greens

A good thing to remember when out on the course is to always leave a green in better condition after you leave it than when you arrive. Provided you do not hold up the following group,

  1. Always repair your pitch mark and at least 2 others.
  2. Tap down scuff/sprig marks near the hole and about the green.
  3. Be careful putting your feet too near the hole when removing your ball.
Following these simple steps will make the round more enjoyable for you and the other players on the day.

White Duck Day Outstanding Success

Congratulations to the organisers of the White Duck Charity Day. The day helps raise funds for Prostate Cancer Research and attracted a large field and was well supported by its many sponsors. Jamberoo Golf Club would like to thank the supporters of the day and looks forward to your future patronage. A more detailed report will be upcoming in the near future.

Don’t forget that next Tuesday the Lady members of Jamberoo Golf Club will be running  a charity day in aid of Ovarian Cancer research.
