The January Ladies monthly medal will be played on Tuesday 15/01/2019. We are hoping to see a large turnout for the first medal of the year. ‘Tea and a slice’ will be available after the game.

Larry almost does it again.

Larry Osterhaus scored his first ever hole in one last Saturday hitting a 5 iron onto the green and watching with delight as it disappeared into the hole. Surely the greatest feeling you can have on a golf course.

He certainly has the measure of the ninth at the moment.

On Wednesday Larry walked confidently to the tee, choose his favourite club and again hit it pure and at the hole almost going in for another ace finishing about 2 metres directly behind the hole.

Two from two, that would have been some record! This time he had to settle for the nearest the pin prize.

Don’t forget, that in the Tuesday or Wednesday competitions if you have an ace then you will win the Jackpot prize, which currently stands at $250. All thanks to JUST BATHROOMS.

Men’s Pennant teams prepare for the upcoming Season

The first match of the 2019 season commences on Sunday 3rd of February where the Jamberoo teams will all be playing away. The B and C Pennants are at the Grange while both White Horse Cup teams are travelling up the mountain to play at Highlands Golf Club.

Our home games this year will be on February 10 for the Whirte Horse Cup and C Pennant and the following week for the B Pennant. It would be great if members came down to watch our teams in action.

The 4 captains are busy checking out the form of their players and it appears that things are pretty good.

New club shirts and hats have been ordered and will be presented to our players at the annual Pennant Team BBQ which will be held just before the season. More info next week.

Golf‘s a hard game to figure.

One day you’ll go out and slice it and shank it, hit into all the bunkers and miss every green.

The next day you go out and for no reason at all you’re really rubbish!!.
